Crans-Montana: Furniture from Punto Design in a Swiss Resort

sponsored by Punto Design

The Crans-Montana ski resort in Switzerland is a place of attraction for outdoor enthusiasts and athletes. It can be called unique, because it welcomes visitors at any time of the year – this is favored by weather and climatic conditions. The impressive height (1400 meters above sea level), over 150 kilometers of ski slopes and beautiful views of the Alps attract tourists from all over the world.

Initially, Crans-Montana gained fame as the best golf destination (tournaments of a different scale are held here every summer), but over time it has become a full-fledged ski resort.

It seems, what else is missing at this already ideal place?

Furniture from Punto Design!

For this project, we have designed and manufactured unique sun loungers and benches on an individual order. A common distinguishing feature is wide backrests for relaxation (do not forget that this is a resort), thanks to which the products become very comfortable.

We used environmentally friendly wood and powder coated galvanized steel as materials. Due to this, the products do not require annual renewal (tinting, etc.) and have an increased level of resistance to external influences.

How do we work with individual orders?

Using this project as an example, you can see the way we create unique furniture for public spaces. Simplified diagram looks like this:

Project Architect + (Punto Design + Industrial Designers) = Unique Product

An architect facing the challenge of creating a unique project turns to the Punto Group. We send this request to our industrial design partners and together with them create an exclusive product for a unique project.

A clear structure of work and a high-tech approach to the production of urban furniture allow us to ship products all over the world and successfully compete with the world’s best manufacturers.
