Dynamic play packaged in innovative, compact playground designs

When designing a play space, it’s important to offer a wide variety of age-appropriate challenges for kids. Innovative and preconfigured designs from Landscape Structures Inc., a Delano, Minn.-based commercial playground equipment manufacturer, takes the guesswork out of doing just that. The company has recently introduced two new offerings in the Quantis™ family of playground net climbers. Quantis A.2 + A.3 are both loaded with dynamic play in a compact design that’s perfect for any small footprint or pocket park.

Defy expectations with the angular and sculptural Quantis A.2 Kids ages 5 to 12 will love its open format playscape as they navigate to the Oodle® seat at the structure’s core, balance across the SwiggleKnots™ Bridge or tackle the overhead netting and molecular-style belting. Kids can flex their climbing skills through naturally occurring geometric shapes, and the payoff for reaching the top is a gently curving glider ride back down to the ground.

The Quantis A.3 replaces the glider on A.2 with an additional climber and combines several other types of activities in its compact design. A solid-rung climbing experience is found in one arch of the climber, while kids ages 5 to 12 that want more of a challenge can use the flexible cable and belt climber found in the other arch. Additionally, there is a cable and rung ladder, SwiggleKnots Bridge, Oodle seat and a comfortable transfer point on either end of the lower belt path ensuring that those who can leave their mobility devices have access to other play areas of the climber.

In addition to the new Quantis playground designs mentioned above, Landscape Structures has pulled together a sampling of design ideas and custom concepts on playlsi.com. You’ll find the original Quantis playground designs, which deliver net climbers, belting, swings, gliders and so much more for an infinite play experience. Even more, there are a variety of net structure, tower structure, topography and nature-inspired concepts that are sure to help inspire your upcoming playground projects.
