Airport, Calonne Ricouart

”Airport” garden has landed on asphalt road, next to meadow and slag heap hill, in Callone Ricouart – small mining town in north of France. Asphalt road is dig and planted with umbelliferous plants species that create wonderful land field for insects.

Umbelliferous flower, fleeting on different heights (from 50cm to 2m50), offer many landing possibility for insects to come and pollinate there. Large terraces and benches, as waiting room on airport terminal in front of planes landing and taking off, offer to visitors to observe aerobatics insects flying shows. Let’s get ready for take off!
